In 2023, our two stores used 283,000 disposable utensils, costing over $20,000 and creating a lot of unnecessary waste. After switching to reusable utensils, we saw a big change. In just one year, we reduced our purchases to 56,160 utensils, spending only $8,338 and saving more than $12,000 compared to the year before. Even better, this switch helps cut down on single-use waste, keeping hundreds of thousands of utensils out of landfills every year.
