BriarPatch Food Co-op is proud to carry delicious produce from Super Tuber Farm. Throughout the year look for potatoes, carrots, cabbage and beets. Did you know, Super Tuber cabbage is an important ingredient used to make Local Culture’s kraut?
Established in 2012, Super Tuber Farm aims to produce the tastiest, high-quality Organic food in a manner that enriches the soil in which it is grown, the hands of those who grow it and the bellies of those who eat it.
“I like producing foods that are familiar to people,” said Farmer Jeremy Mineau. Jeremy is part of a growing number of young people pursuing an agricultural career and agrarian lifestyle.
Jeremy got his start as an intern at Mountain Bounty Farm in Nevada City. He specializes in many varieties of potatoes, hence the name “Super Tuber” but he also produces other amazing crops. Kids love the carrots found regularly at The Patch.
Jeremy and his crew grow tasty certified organic veggies on eight acres in Nevada County. Super Tuber Farm aims to produce

Our Local Definition
Local = anything grown or produced within the Sacramento Watershed—the watershed in which current BriarPatch locations operate.
And just as important: “direct from producers” because it remains a core part of what local means to us. We’ll continue to celebrate the farm-direct relationships BriarPatch has built over decades.
