As the weather turns colder and the seasons shift, Ayurveda offers practical ways to help the body stay balanced, nourished and resilient.
In this community class, Ayurvedic practitioner Jess Hartley will share simple seasonal practices for supporting immunity through late fall and winter. Learn how food and lifestyle choices can help strengthen digestion and support the body’s natural defenses.
We’ll explore Agni, Ayurveda’s concept of digestive and metabolic strength, and Ojas, traditionally associated with vitality, resilience, and immunity. You’ll leave with approachable tips you can use at home, including seasonal dietary recommendations, daily self-care practices, and Ayurvedic herbs traditionally used during the colder months.
The class will conclude with a sampling of Chyavanprash, a traditional Ayurvedic herbal fruit preparation used to support nourishment and vitality.
