Savor the very best of our region during the Sierra Foothills Food Fest. Presented by Sierra Commons and Sierra Harvest, this three-day weekend brings together top regional chefs, local makers and food innovators.
Thursday night kicks off with Food for Thought, a community panel on local food security featuring leaders from the Food Bank of Nevada County, Interfaith Food Ministry, Community Roots and Gold Country Senior Services.
Friday night brings Food Fight 2026 at Castello Vista. Top regional chefs go head-to-head using 100% local ingredients, serving unlimited bites while attendees vote for the People’s Choice winner.
Saturday features FoodX at the Miners Foundry in Nevada City, where you can sample and shop directly from local food startups. The festival finishes with a “Wine Down” after-party offering live music, food trucks and patio access at Nevada City Winery.
