5k & Trash Clean Up

Calling all PatchWorks Volunteers! Put on your walking shoes and join us on Wednesday, April 30th, to participate in the Cooperative Development Foundation’s Co-op 5k. We’re kicking it up a notch by picking up trash while getting our steps in. Did we mention that PatchWorks Volunteers also earn PatchWorks hours at this event!

CDF’s annual 5K supports cooperative development nationwide and helps maintain its Disaster Recovery Fund to help cooperatives get back in business after natural disasters and emergencies.

It’s free to participate. Just bring your co-op spirit. Sign up to participate with the form below. Please sign up by April 18th. The first 5 volunteers to sign up before March 25th will receive a free t-shirt!

Our team meeting spot will be the Grass Valley BriarPatch Patio, then we’ll hit the trail (Litton Trail, that is).

Can’t join us on April 30th? You can still earn PatchWorks volunteer hours by cleaning up our community. Pick up trash on your own time in Nevada and/or Placer County from April 19th to 30th, and we’ll count it towards your April PatchWorks volunteer hours. Just fill out the form below with how many hours you collected waste and where you did so in the “Message” field. Be sure to select “PatchWorks” in the “What are you contacting us about” field.
