Every Thursday Dan from Asunta’s Browns Valley Farm delivers 25 – 30 dozen fresh eggs. His 200 or so chickens enjoy the good life – fresh air, grubs and 3 – 4 acres to roam. He started raising chickens in 2011, as a school project with his daughter.  

“She fell in love with ‘em. Daddy got to take care of chickens.”  

As an adult, his daughter comes by every couple of weeks to check on the birds. He now has 5 grandkids and 4 great-gandkids!  

“It’s a healthy lifestyle. It’s good for the children. It was good for my daughter and now it’s good for the grandkids.”  

Dan is a proud member of Farmer Veteran Coalition and also supports Sustainable Agriculture causes.  

His eggs go fast! Get ’em while you can!
