St. Louis BBQ Mustard Sauce 

Thick, tangy with classic sweet heat. Slather this classic sauce on pork ribs or chicken. Save some “spare” for dunking grilled proteins or as a bold crudités dip.  


  • 2 cups ketchup 
  • ¼ cup yellow mustard 
  •  1/3 cup brown sugar 
  •  1/3 cup apple cider vinegar 
  • ¼ cup water 
  •  1 tsp garlic powder 
  •  1 tsp onion powder 
  •  ¾ tsp kosher salt 
  •  3/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper 
  •  1/2 tsp cayenne pepper 
  •  1 tsp your favorite hot sauce 


Combine all ingredients in a bowl and whisk well. You can store sauce in the fridge for up to 2 weeks. Letting sauce sit for a couple of days will really let the flavors come out.
