Nothing like a batch of honey butter to make the day better!
Unless you’re talking about SPICED honey butter. Local honey and spices make for fantastic flavor.
Ingredients
- 8 oz unsalted butter, softened
- 3 Tbsp honey, plus more for drizzling – we like Wofchuck or Wingfield’s Honey Co.’s wildflower honey
- ¼ – ½ tsp Local Spicery Moroccan Breakfast Spice (Turmeric, Ginger, Cinnamon, Clove), plus a wee bit more for sprinkling on top
- Several pinches fine salt
Directions
- Add softened butter, honey, Moroccan Breakfast Spice and salt to small bowl with tall sides.
- With a hand mixer, whip ingredients until fluffy and light.
- Best served at room temperature, drizzled with honey and sprinkled with a little extra Moroccan Breakfast Spice for presentation.
- Will keep in fridge for several days.
