Join Sierra Harvest for a farm tour at Mountain Bounty Farm, a 50-acre organic farm located on the San Juan Ridge from 10 to 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, August 16.

Started in 1997 by John Tecklin, Mountain Bounty Farm provides delicious organic produce to the Co-op and weekly boxes of food year-round to their CSA members throughout Nevada County.

The largest farm in Nevada County, Mountain Bounty Farm was the first project of the Forever Farms Program. A collaboration of Bear Yuba Land Trust and partners like BriarPatch and Sierra Harvest, Forever Farms has permanently protected a 37-acre property called Birchville Preserve, important farmland for Mountain Bounty.
